Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. Data Controller

The data controller is Gabriele Baudo, Italy. For any privacy-related request, contact us at hello@lumentrace.app.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only what is strictly necessary to provide the service:

  • Email address — collected when you submit a trial request or activate a license. Used to communicate with you and to associate your license.
  • Device technical identifiers — a device fingerprint and installation ID generated locally on your machine. Used solely for license validation. Never used for advertising or tracking.

3. What We Do Not Collect

We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking scripts. There is no cookie banner on this site because we do not set non-essential cookies.

4. Legal Basis (GDPR)

  • License activation data: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Trial request data: your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

5. Data Retention

Trial licenses expire after 30 days. The associated email address is retained for up to one year after expiry for audit and abuse-prevention purposes. To request earlier deletion, email hello@lumentrace.app.

6. Third Parties

We work with the following data processors:

  • Cloudflare — used as a CDN and for hosting binary downloads via Cloudflare R2. Cloudflare processes traffic data as a data processor under a standard DPA. No data is sold or shared with advertising networks.
  • Resend (Resend Inc., USA) — used to send transactional emails (license delivery). Data processed: your name and email address. Resend acts as a data processor under a standard DPA. No data is shared for advertising or tracking purposes.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@lumentrace.app. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
