Installing Lumentrace Client
Download Lumentrace Client from lumentrace.app/download.
It is a separate download from the main Lumentrace app.
macOS
- Open the
.dmg. - Drag Lumentrace Client to Applications.
- First launch: right-click → Open (macOS 14 and earlier) or System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway (macOS 15+). Once only — see Installation for details.
- Allow Local Network access when prompted.
Windows
- Run the Lumentrace Client installer. If SmartScreen appears, click More info → Run anyway (the installer is unsigned).
- Allow network access when prompted by Windows Firewall.
No license needed
Lumentrace Client does not require activation. Launch it and connect to a Lumentrace server.
