Workspace Overview

The Lumentrace workspace has two columns.

Left column (most of the screen):

  • Canvas — the main video area with tracker crosshairs overlaid, takes up the upper portion.
  • Bottom panel row — three resizable panels side by side:
    • Presets — saved tracker-fixture assignment presets, recalled quickly during the show.
    • Trackers — list of active trackers.
    • Layout — fixture table and plan view; assign fixtures to trackers here.

Right column:

  • Selected Fixture — attributes and controls for the currently selected fixture.
  • Tracking Settings — divided into Fixture Settings (per-fixture parameters such as pan/tilt offsets and deadzone) and Global Settings (rise sensitivity, reset time, and more). See Pan/Tilt Offsets and Deadzone & Smoothing.

All panels are resizable by dragging the dividers between them. Proportions are saved with the project.

Video feeds

Each video feed places a camera source on the canvas and carries its own calibration mesh.

See Video Feeds for detail.
