Lumentrace Client
Lumentrace Client is the remote operator app. It connects to a running Lumentrace instance over the local network and lets additional operators control trackers independently from their own position.
A typical setup has the lighting operator at FOH running the main Lumentrace app (which holds DMX authority), while spot operators at remote positions run Lumentrace Client and see the same camera feeds.
What Lumentrace Client can do
- See live camera feeds.
- Select and control a tracker from a dropdown — if a tracker is already in use by another operator it will appear as locked, showing which operator holds it.
- Move the tracker on the canvas in real time — movement is synced bidirectionally between the server and all clients, so the server always knows the current position of every tracker.
- Use Rise Mode (mouse wheel), reset rise (middle-click or Shift+R), and Free Move — the same tracker operations available on the server.
- Adjust per-tracker intensity, beam size, and offsets.
What Lumentrace Client cannot do
- Change project settings.
- Modify calibration.
- Patch fixtures.
- Enable or disable DMX output.
- Activate or manage licenses.
No license required
Lumentrace Client is free to install and use. Only the main Lumentrace app requires a license.
