Selected Fixture Panel

The Selected Fixture panel is in the top section of the right column. It shows the currently selected fixture's attributes and gives direct manual control over them.

Attributes

The panel shows the fixture's standard attributes on the Main Attrs tab: intensity, pan, tilt, zoom, iris, focus. If the fixture has additional attributes beyond these (custom channels, colour wheels, gobos, etc.), they appear on the Extra Attrs tab.

Each attribute has a slider. Double-click a slider to reset it to the fixture's default value as defined in its profile.

XY pad

The XY pad below the attribute list provides trackpad-style control over pan and tilt:

  • X axis → pan
  • Y axis → tilt

Drag on the pad to move the fixture. Use the COARSE / FINE toggle above the pad to switch between large steps (coarse) and fine precision steps. The sensitivity of each mode is set in Global Settings → Other Controls (Trackpad Coarse Sensitivity and Trackpad Fine Sensitivity).

Invert

Pan and tilt each have an INV toggle next to their slider. When enabled, the XY pad direction for that axis is reversed. This is useful when the physical fixture orientation does not match the expected pan/tilt direction on screen.

Invert applies only to XY pad input — it does not affect the DMX output value directly.
