Video Feeds
A video feed is the core unit of a Lumentrace project. It places a camera source on the canvas and carries its own calibration mesh — the transform that maps camera coordinates to DMX pan and tilt values.
Adding a video feed
Open Setup → Open Settings... (Ctrl+,). In the Settings panel, select Video Feed, then click + Add.
Give the new feed a name and select a camera source (see Camera Sources).
Canvas layout editor
To position, resize, rotate, or crop video feeds on the canvas, open Setup → Edit Canvas Layout... (Ctrl+Shift+L).
In canvas layout edit mode:
- Drag a feed to move it.
- Drag a corner handle to resize it.
- Drag the rotation handle to rotate it.
- Alt + drag an edge to crop that side of the feed.
- Right-click a feed for options: Flip Horizontal, Flip Vertical, Reset Transform, Bring to Front, Send to Back.
Click Done to exit canvas layout edit mode.
Panel proportions (left/right column width, bottom panel heights) are resizable at any time by dragging the dividers. Proportions are saved with the project.
Multiple feeds
Multiple feeds can coexist on the same canvas — one per camera angle, covering different parts of a stage. Each feed has its own calibration mesh.
